Not sure what to bring to camp? Here are some general guidelines and ideas:

Camping items

  • sleeping bag
  • pillow
  • toiletries
  • towels
  • clothes, including a warm jacket for at night
  • sneakers/runners
  • flashlight
  • device chargers
  • mug with lid
  • cash



  • If you plan to participate in the Friday night Pig Roast / Pot luck, please bring a dish to share, as well as plates and utensils for yourself.
  • We're only offering 2 pre-paid meals at the camp, so you'll want to bring food and snacks for your other meals over the weekend.
    • Java Jo's food truck will be available the whole weekend though, so you can also purchase food and drinks from her when the truck is open.
    • There are also a few restaurants and shops nearby if you'd rather order or eat out.
  • Campstove (can only be used outside) 
  • Cooler
  • Masking tape to label anythign stored in the camp fridge



  • bicycles
  • soccerball, bocce, etc.
  • buckets and pails if you want to head to the nearby beach
  • craft supplies
  • excercise gear (there are many walking and running paths near Birch Bay, and we're offering an exercise class on Saturday morning)
  • supplies for Ham it Up (if needed)
